Three Hydraulic Constructions, One Force Range
The hydraulic range covers 200 kN to 16,000 kN nominal force in three constructions that share the same engineering base: cartridge-valve integrated hydraulics, PLC control with a centralised button station, and two working processes (fixed stroke and fixed pressure, switched from the panel). The constructions themselves differ: the Y1P is a three-beam, four-post pillar design; the Y1C is an open C-frame; and the Y1H is an H-frame double-column machine. Safety configuration is not uniform across the range — it is stated per series under each table below, exactly as the manufacturer publishes it. The Y1P is the general-purpose pillar press, the Y1C serves work that must be loaded from the side, and the Y1H takes the largest drawing and forming work.

Safety configuration (Y1C, as published): a hand-held safety column and a manual lubricator are standard; a light curtain is optional, as are a safety net, safety door and safety claw. The frame is guided on dual round pillars below 500 kN nominal force and on four round pillars at 1,000 kN and above. The Y1C page lists the work: stretching, bending, embossing, blanking, correcting and pressing of parts. Buyers comparing a C-frame hydraulic press in the 320-ton class will find the nearest catalogue model is the Y1C-315 at 3,150 kN.

Safety configuration (Y1H, as published): a manual safety column and a light curtain on the operating side are standard; TDC pins, a safety net, safety door and safety claw are optional. Guidance is four-corner, eight-sided and adjustable, with an integral copper-alloy slide plate and electric continuous-cycle lubrication. A note on the source table: on the manufacturer's Y1H page the work-table sizes are printed in the row headed “Return speed” (unit mm×mm) and the 750 mm table height in the row headed “Work table size”; both are placed above under the headings their units indicate — a reading inferred from the units and value forms, not a manufacturer-confirmed layout — so the table sizes and the 750 mm table height should be confirmed by the manufacturer in the quotation; no separate return-speed figure is published for the Y1H. Documented work: stretching, bending, flanging, cold extrusion, blanking, correcting and pressing, including powder, abrasive, plastic and insulation materials. Published options include worktable extension, a cushion device or CNC hydraulic cushion, and segmented cushions. The drive comparison is covered in the mechanical vs hydraulic press guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Fixed stroke or fixed pressure — what is the difference in practice?
The hydraulic range offers both processes, switched on the panel: fixed stroke stops the slide at a set position, fixed pressure stops it at a set tonnage. Which process a given part runs on is part of the enquiry: the series pages document the applications themselves — stretching, bending, flanging, cold extrusion, blanking, correction, pressing and powder compaction — and the pillar and H-frame pages document a pressure holding delay function.
How fast do the hydraulic presses run?
Per the published tables: descent (fast approach) is 300 mm/s across all three series; working speed is 15-80 mm/s on the Y1P and Y1C depending on model, and 220 mm/s (260 mm/s from the Y1H-800 up) on the Y1H; return speed is 220 mm/s on the Y1P and Y1C, and is not published as a separate figure for the Y1H.
Which series for deep drawing of thin plate?
The Y1C C-frame is documented for stretching and drawing work with side loading access; the Y1H H-frame covers large drawing work up to 16,000 kN with cushion options. State the part size and drawing depth in the enquiry.
Are safety devices included?
It depends on the series — check the configuration note under each table. A light curtain is standard on the Y1H operating side and optional on the Y1C; the Y1P's standard set is a handheld safety column, manual lubricator and operation side light, with guarding options beyond that. Market-specific guarding requirements should be stated in the enquiry so the machine is configured at the factory.
