Four-Post Hydraulic Presses: The Y1P Pillar Series

Three beams, four columns: the Y1P pillar series at 200 to 6,300 kN, with fixed-pressure forming and a pressure holding delay.

The Four-Post Hydraulic Press in This Range: Y1P

The Y1P is the pillar — four-post — series of the hydraulic range: a three-beam four-column structure published at 200 to 6,300 kN nominal force across nine models (Y1P-20 to Y1P-630). Daylight runs 500 to 1,000 mm and stroke 300 to 800 mm by model, with a published descent speed of 300 mm/s and return at 220 mm/s. The manufacturer's page lists the application span in full: stretching, bending, flanging, cold extrusion, blanking, correction, pressing, powder compaction, grinding work, and the pressing and forming of plastic products and insulation materials.

Selected per-model specifications for the Y1P — working speed bands, work table dimensions and the cushion table per model — are published on the hydraulic press page.

Published Construction and Control

  • Hydraulics: integrated cartridge-valve design, the valve group set on the upper beam or the cylinder as standard; fixed stroke and fixed pressure forming processes, with a pressure holding delay function.
  • Layout flexibility: the official page states the hydraulic station can adjust its layout position according to user needs.
  • Control: an independent PLC electrical control system with centralized button control, linkable with automation, with an optional process data acquisition industrial computer.
  • Safety configuration, as published: a handheld safety column, manual lubricator and operation side light are standard; protective net, guard door and safety pawl are optional.
  • Cushion option: published cushion force and stroke from 50 kN & 100 mm to 1,000 kN & 200 mm, with cushion tables from 400 x 300 mm to 800 x 600 mm.
  • Special designs on the page: double-column structure, independent round guide post, continuous multi-stage pressurization for extended periods, high-precision force or position control, worktable movement out, and buffering devices.

Four-post or H-frame? The Y1P's beams-and-columns construction leaves the die space open between the posts; the welded closed frame of the Y1H series carries the range up to 16,000 kN. The open C-frame alternative at the same force band is the Y1C. All three tables are together on the hydraulic press page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What force range does the four-post hydraulic press cover?

200 to 6,300 kN across the nine published Y1P models, Y1P-20 to Y1P-630, with daylight of 500-1,000 mm and stroke of 300-800 mm.

Is the Y1P suitable for powder compaction?

Powder compaction is one of the applications the manufacturer's Y1P page lists; the same page also publishes fixed-stroke and fixed-pressure forming processes and a pressure holding delay function among the series' features.

Does the Y1P have a die cushion?

A cushion is published as an option: 50 kN & 100 mm at the smallest model up to 1,000 kN & 200 mm at the largest, per the official table.

What is standard safety equipment on the Y1P?

As published: a handheld safety column, manual lubricator and operation side light. Protective net, guard door and safety pawl are listed as optional accessories; the fitted set is fixed in the quotation.
